An independent short film written and directed by Jay Florian, with music composed by Jacob Stone
Bad Luck is an independent short film based written and directed by Jay Florian. It is about a puppet named Chris who goes to get food at a McDonalds but somehow they are all out of everything on the menu. As he drives away to a different McDonalds, he gets carjacked and kidnapped. He then gets involved in a very intense robbery with the aim to steal snacks. Unfortunately, when they get caught, Chris gets labeled as an accomplice and gets landed with 200 hours of community service, “at the very least”.
The music within this film is loosely based on classics like Pink Panther by Henry Mancini and Mission Impossible by Lalo Schifrin.

a life of morals and murder (Orchestral)
A full concept film score based off of the novel A Life of Morals and Murder by Olive D. Wilson (Playback from Dorico)
A Life of Morals and Murder is a dark fantasy novel set in a dystopian world in which a group of teenagers find themselves having to fend for themselves against the empire, a dictatorship reign.
The music written for this novel is a complete film score that is for the hypothetical film. Chapters are chosen and imagined as if they were a real film and music is then written based off of that vision. The music is inspired by many different classic film scores, included John Powell’s How to Train Your Dragon, John William’s Star Wars, and many more.
